Available Internships
International Exotic Animal Sanctuary
The IEAS in Boyd, TX is home to many species of exotic animals such as tigers, bears, wolves, courgars, bobcats, and more! Candidates should have at least two years of undergraduate program studies in zoology, animal management, biology, or a related field. Interns must perform regular, strenuous duties in over 100 degree weather and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Housing, vehicles, and stipends are provided. More information can be found on the website.

WISE (Washington Intern Study Experience)
The WISE program extends the opportunity by providing internships and academic credit to a semester in D.C. so that schools can easily give their students a life changing experience in Washington D.C. A link to the website can be found here.
American Chemical Society
The Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and the American Chemical Society created the SCI Scholars Summer Internship Program to introduce chemistry and chemical engineering students to careers in the chemical industry.
Exceptional sophomores and juniors majoring in chemistry and chemical engineering can apply for a prestigious SCI Scholars summer internship. Students are selected based on the strength of their application, statement of interest in an industrial internship, and letters of recommendation. Approximately 30 scholars will be chosen for internship positions in the summer of 2018.

The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) in Washington, D.C.
Applications are now being accepted for Spring and Summer 2019 Academic Internship Programs hosted by The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) in Washington, DC. All of the programs include guaranteed internships placements, academic credit from George Mason University, furnished housing in downtown Washington, as well as many opportunities for networking and professional development.
This opportunity is perfect for students who are interested in becoming nonprofit leaders and who are passionate about making a positive and lasting impact on their communities. Students who participate in Campus Compact will be given priority consideration during the admissions process.

American Red Cross
Position Title: Divisional Fiscal Review Team Member
Review cases where the American Red Cross provided financial assistance. Two to six hours a week, depending on caseload. Hours are flexible and can be done from anywhere with an Internet connection.
