Dear Northern Oklahoma College Employees,
While some Oklahoma college and universities will now be implementing a vaccine mandate for employees because of the new federal mandate with President Biden’s executive order issued last month, I wanted to let you know that Northern Oklahoma College is bound by state restrictions and does not currently have any federal contracts, thus is not obligated to comply.
Our guidelines reflect the expectations that have been provided by Governor Stitt on mask mandates and vaccinations.
While NOC is not requiring vaccinations for our students and employees, we do highly recommend vaccinations for those who are able. Exceptions: vaccinations may be required for those participating in allied health, nursing or global education programs.
We continue to provide vaccination clinics at our campus locations and appreciate all who have taken advantage of this service. We also appreciate everyone who participated in our COVID-19 Vaccination Incentive Contests this fall semester.
