The Spring semester kicks off additional student services in the Cultural Engagement Center (CEC) for Native American and low-income students.
Through the NASNTI grant, mentors will be provided for Native American students attending NOC on all three campuses.
The ten Native American mentors have earned a college degree in a variety of fields from different colleges. Mentors are available to discuss time management, study skills, financial aid information, tribal scholarships, and goal setting as well as other topics related to college success.

Mentors include Alison Black, Alexandria Chino, Michael Davis, Kristin Gentry, Charlene Le, Sabrina Norris, Mary Jo Pratt, Susan Michele Sheldon, Courtney Tsotigh and Hannah Wensman.
The CEC is located on the north side of the Vineyard Library.
The Cultural Engagement Center is a great place to study alone or in small groups. The CEC has 12 desktop computers, 20 laptop computers, printer, private study rooms, math tutoring, and a kitchen area with microwave and refrigerator.
The CEC is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
