The Mackie Planetarium on the NOC Enid campus will present the next show on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The show will begin at 7 p.m.
Planetarium director Fritz Osell will present the night sky over Enid during November and show prominent constellations and planets in our evening sky.
He will also show known stars with planets, visitors will be surprised that thousands of planetary systems have been found in our neighborhood of the galaxy. Discovery of new planetary systems is largely a result of the combination of advanced telescopes like the James Webb space telescope with the rapid advancement of computer technology.
The full dome planetarium show will present a show for children about Hercules, a constellation setting in our western sky during November.
The main show will be about the concept of time.
There is no charge, but donations of non-perishable food items for Our Daily Bread and for Loaves and Fishes are accepted.
