NOC holds nurses pinning ceremony in Enid
Fifteen Northern Oklahoma College Nursing Students received their nurses’ pins at a ceremony at NOC Enid Saturday night in the 50th Class of NOC Nursing.
Nursing students from the Stillwater, Enid, and Tonkawa campuses received their pins and cited the Florence Nightingale Pledge.
The guest speaker was former NOC Nursing Faculty Marriya Wright.
NOC Nursing Division Chair Dr. Nikole Hicks congratulated each member of the graduating class and noted they are “an exceptional group of courageous individuals who made the choice during a worldwide pandemic not to run the other way.” Hicks advised the graduates to “pursue excellence and use your life changing experience at NOC to change the lives of those with whom you will have contact over the course of your careers.”

Northern Oklahoma College, the state’s first public two-year community college, is a multi-campus, land-grant institution that provides high quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities and services.
