For the past 10 years, The March of Dimes pays tribute to the nursing profession by recognizing extraordinary nurses throughout the state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma Nurse of the Year honors those who make a difference in the lives of so many.
The March of Dimes is honored to pay tribute to the nursing profession by recognizing extraordinary nurses throughout the community.
Three nurses with NOC ties were nominated including two in the Critical Care Division.
They include Melissa Bell (Stillwater Medical Center) and Riley Robinson (OU Health Edmond Medical Center).
Robinson, a NOC graduate and the daughter of NOC Enid’s Jeff Tate won the award in the Critical Care Division.
Bell, a graduate from the Tonkawa program, was also recognized as a Critical Care Finalist. She is an ICU Charge Nurse at Stillwater Medical Center.
Kyla Davis won the Rising Star award, she is also an ICU Charge Nurse at Stillwater Medical Center. Davis is the daughter of NOC Stillwater instructor Tammy Davis.
