Phillips 66 Process Technology Scholarship Fund: This scholarship is available to students with financial need, preferably diversity candidates, who are majoring in process technology.
The Koch Fertilizer, LLC Northern Oklahoma College Scholarship Program: This Scholarship Program provides the College’s students with an opportunity to advance their education at the College while gaining valuable knowledge about potential careers in engineering and industrial technology. It is for students from the Enid and Garfield County areas and includes stipends for travel to the Tonkawa campus.

Prospective and Current Students
The PTEC program commences in the Fall semester each year and space is limited. We are currently taking applications for Fall 2023. If you are interested in the PTEC program or are a current NOC student who has declared PTEC as a major, you are encouraged to complete an application for an upcoming session.

Please make sure you have a personal email on file with the registrar’s office. Please direct any questions on submission to Kerri Gray at 580-628-6760. You must be enrolled full time in the PTEC program to be eligible for a scholarship.

About the Program
Program Description: The Process Technology (PTEC) program is designed to provide the student with entry level training to become a Process Technician in the petrochemical and power industry. The program provides graduates with the following:
- A foundation in refining and chemical processing principles
- An understanding of what it means to operate a unit
- Respect for safety and environmental regulations
- Skills for troubleshooting systems
Mission Statement: To provide foundational principles in chemical processes, safety, operations and troubleshooting through close partnerships with industry and experienced adjunct instructors.
History: The Associate of Applied Science Degree program in Process Technology was developed in 2000 in through a Oklahoma State Regents 3 year grant and in partnership with ConocoPhillips, British Petroleum, Sunoco, Valero, Sinclair, and other petrochemical corporations.

Troubleshooting Skills Competition 2012
In April 2012, our PTEC troubleshooting competition team participated in the First National Simulation Troubleshooting Shootout held here at NOC. The 2012 team included Fred Scholey, George Munroe, and Jared Yaffe and was coached by PTEC instructor Julie Allen. The Troubleshooting Shootout was sponsored in part by a National Science Foundation Grant and from various industry partners.
